The 11^th annual event honors those that have enriched the tradition of horse racing. The 2009 Hall of Fame inductees include racing legends Harold Goodman and Jeff Carr (both deceased) and Texas-bred horses Got Koko, Top Deck and Pass Over. The Joann Weber Distinguished Service Award was presented to former Texas Senator O.H. “Ike” Harris. The Hall of Fame is temporarily housed on the clubhouse level at Retama Park Race Track.
